Cuernavaca has been established as an international learning center for Mexico's language, culture and history. Cuernavaca is ranked number 2 worldwide to teach Spanish after Salamanca in Spain.

Cuernavaca counts around 30 schools to teach Spanish. Some of them are open only in high season. Mexpañol represents and has close relationship with 12 schools that are teaching Spanish the whole year, as follows:

The Association of Spanish Language Institutes in Cuernavaca (AIPEC) representing 12 schools is devoted to the high academic standards and strict ethical code of teaching Spanish, art and culture from Mexico and Latin America to foreigners.

They provide a high standard of education and a safe environment within the classrooms as well as the organised tours through the city and nearest places. Each member must stick to very strict rules.
