The school
Universal was founded in 1983. The school encourages extracurricular activities, such as specialised research and group projects, in order to offer students a deeper understanding of Mexican culture, history and contemporary life. Universal has extensive facilities: 22 out / indoor classrooms, books library, cafeteria serving breakfast, internet access, mail service, nice swimming pool, gardens, Ping-Pong table, volleyball and racquetball courts. The ample grounds offer plenty of comfortable spaces to study or relax.

The courses
Universal offers a regular group course (25 hours / week) including grammar, vocabulary, and conversation. This program is made of 60 constructed modules, which can be covered in 16-20 weeks. All programs are focused on developing and improving speaking, understanding, writing, and reading. The school proposes a course for "Traveler" that provides students with conversational ability in "survival Spanish". Advanced program and Spanish for Professionals are offered as well.

Free time
All classical guided tours are lead by Universal's staff or Mexican historians.
