Mailing from Mexico  requires patience, because the Mexican mailing system is usually slow, and  sometimes parcels get lost before getting to their destination. However, you can choose faster and safer  services paying a bit more. Posting a letter from Mexico to The United States may take from one to two weeks, even longer, and to Europe at least 2 weeks.

A stamp to Europe will cost for letter and for postcard around 6-8 pesos (EUR 0.62 / US$ 0.6 / CHF0.90) depending on where your stay . To the US/Canada, a stamp for letter/postcard costs around US$ 0.50.

Fax service is available in many places; you can find it in stores, phone booths, hotels, airports and bus stations.
