One the main characteristics of Cuernavaca is the large number of small shopping places called "Plaza". There are so many of them that we could ask ourselves how they do to survive. Therefore, no wonder to see sometimes empty Plazas.

The most popular ones are Plaza de Cuernavaca, Plaza El Pueblito, and Plaza Esmeralda. In these places you'll find everything you need, supermarket, cinema, jewellery, crafts, sunglasses, clothes, caps, restaurants, books, magazines, newspapers, cigarettes, CDs, phone cards etc...
