There are many Artists living in Cuernacava. Therefore, all Art lovers will be delighted to visit a large variety of exposition, like for instance, as follows:

Art Collection  Gallery, at Plaza Cuernavaca, displays some of the best contemporary abstract paintings.

Centro de Expresion Cultural, on Gutemberg, below Harry's Grill, has  a permanent exhibit of erotic paintings and sculpture by local artists. Arte Para Todos, across from Bio Art, handles a wide variety of paintings and styles. And Galeria de Arte Contemporaneo, at Cuauhtemoc 518, displays works by some of  Mexico's top contemporary artists.

Carlos de  Villa. Actores 111, in Colonia La Jolla, Area No. 20. The works of this Cuernavaca artist, whose painting "Iconoclasta" hangs in the Jose Luis Cuevas  museum in Mexico City, can be seen at his home/studio/workshop. Carlos de Villa has participated in several individual and collective exhibits in Mexico and the United States. He works in a style he calls "buffo hyperrealism," a mixture of  surrealism and hyperrealism. Tel. 313-0067.
