Mexico's Social  Security Institute has built a fabulous vacation center called Oaxtepec on the site of a botanical garden that once belonged to Aztec ruler Moctezuma I.

This is an enormous, beautiful place with many swimming pools, playgrounds,  hotel, housing, restaurant and athletic fields. It is a great place to see  during the week, as it's literally jammed on weekends.
