Taxis offer a convenient, reasonably-priced and safe way to get around town. Compared to Mexico City, Cuernavaca is safe enough to elect any taxi. Generally, prices are varying between 16 pesos - 35 pesos, depending on running distance.

Cuernavaca' Taxis are not metered, so agree your price before you get in. Your hotel can arrange taxis for you; some post their taxi rates on a board in the  lobby. If you speak Spanish, you will have a distinct advantage and be able  to negotiate a better price! Another good reason to Learn  Spanish!

Upon arrival in Cuernavaca at Terminal "La Selva", take taxi outside the station to go to your family or your stay.
