In Mexico City, there are many places to stay for all kinds of budget. In general, it is recommended to book a room at a minimum 4 stars hotel. The best and posh area is located to Polanco close to Chapultepec Park. There, wonderful hotels like JW Marriott, Inter-Continental, and Nikko, are predominating.

Zona Rosa is still a very popular place to stay. Moreover, it is in the heart of the city. If people stay only a few days and would like to visit most of historic center and combine with nighltlife, it could be a wise place to stay.

Other very nice place to stay are in the south Coyoacán or Ángel, unfortunately, there are too few hotels available. 

For people staying one night in Mexico City, before to fly to another destination, it could be nice to stay the wonderful Marriott Airport.
