Tlaquepaque located just a few minutes away from Guadalajara's down town, the artisan community that produces the greatest variety of handcrafts
in mexico. It is famous for its great shop. They offer a noteworthy selection of textiles, hand-blown glass, paper-maché, wood and metal crafts.
Museo Regional de la Cerámica houses the finest ceramic pieces
from the surrounding areas and is located in a beautiful historic mansion.
In addition to shopping Tlaquepaque offers many wonderful restaurants, some of which are listed below. Be sure to visit the
flower-filled main plaza, El Parían, which has a series of linked bars and restaurant with a center bandstand that often features mariachi bands.
