There are beautiful beach resorts on the Pacific, Gulf of Mexico, and Caribbean coasts.

Just south of the United States, Baja California is one of the most beautiful pacific coastal regions in Mexico. The big favourites are La Paz, Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo (known as the "los dos cabos" - or "the two capes").

Mexico's Pacific Coastline is host to no fewer than eight major beach destinations: Mazatlán, Manzanillo, Acapulco, Puerto Escondido, Puerto Vallarta, Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, and Huatulco which is surrounded by stunning, federally protected, ecological landscapes.

The most popular and well known resorts are Cancún, Playa del Carmen, and the islands of Cozumel and Isla Mujeres located in Yucatán, Caribbean Coasts. Other amazing resorts and more quiet are Puerto Aventuras, Playacar.

Less popular are the beaches of Gulf of Mexico like for instance Campeche and Veracruz. Beautiful beaches and excellent seafood restaurants can be found, and it is a bit less touristic.
