Like any distilled spirit, tequila doesn't age once bottled. Unlike other spirits, however, there are no vintage years because tequila is produced year-round from a plant that takes eight to 12 years to mature and its ripeness doesn't depend on the climate of one particular year.

The best tequila is the one you enjoy the most, of course! There are so many different brands that you will surely find one that really pleases you.  In general the Añejo or Reposado are the most favorite, however don't abuse........
